George Eisenhauer, Voice/Guitar

George Eisenhauer has been an active recitalist, opera, and concert singer in New England for the past decade and has been described by former New York Times music critic Allan Kozinn as having a “graceful sound,” with a “subtle dramatic sensibility.” Eisenhauer has performed as a soloist with the Penobscot Bay Singers and at the White Mountain Bach Festival and in 2014 performed with conductor Robert Moody and the Portland Symphony Orchestra in their production of Poulenc’s Dialogues Des Carmélites. Recent
performances include roles in Carmen (Remendado) and The Marriage of Figaro (Basilio) with Pan Opera at the Academy of Music in Northampton, with future engagements this fall in Verdi’s
La Traviata (Gaston) and Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Gondoliers (Marco). George Eisenhauer teaches music at Monson Public Schools, co-directs the Monson-Palmer Community Band, and
is an active participant in regional music festivals.
